The RFID logistics Pilot project has been awarded the "RFID Italia Award 2009", a main Italian RFID prize, as the best RFID supply chain project, during the show carried out in Varese (Italy) on June 10th, 2009. The "RFID Italia Award" is an important prize both in the Italian and international context, in light of the relevance of the scientific committee in charge for assigning the award. The committe is composed of Luca Mari (University Carlo Cattaneo - Liuc), Carlo Maria Medaglia (University of Roma "La Sapienza"), Giovanni Miragliotta (Milan Polytechnic), Antonio Puliafito (University of Messina), Antonio Rizzi (University of Parma), Luciano Tarricone (University of Salento)
